About

Dr Yvette Pyne is a Bristol-based General Practitioner, clinical academic, and digital health researcher. She currently holds an NIHR In-Practice Fellowship at the University of Bristol, where her research focuses on the diagnosis of perimenopause and the application of artificial intelligence in primary care.

Prior to studying medicine, Yvette spent over a decade working in the IT industry as a developer, tester, and business analyst. Drawing on this experience, she has designed and built numerous websites, tools, and digital resources for individuals, charities, and professional organisations—including projects at the intersection of clinical care, education, and public engagement.

Her interdisciplinary background informs her ongoing commitment to improving healthcare through technology, with a particular focus on digital inclusivity, women’s health, and equitable access to evidence-based information.
